Sydney, March 19, 2026 — HelloFresh ANZ has chosen PTV Logistics as its routing optimisation partner to support its rapidly expanding distribution network across Australia and New Zealand. By integrating PTV OptiFlow’s advanced routing capabilities, the company is strengthening delivery reliability, boosting operational efficiency, and ensuring consistent performance as its network scales.

HelloFresh ANZ continues to experience significant growth, increasing the complexity of last‑mile operations due to wider geographic coverage and fluctuating daily order volumes. To meet rising customer expectations for flexible and on‑time deliveries, the company required a routing solution capable of managing dense, fast‑moving operations with precision.
PTV Logistics was selected for its ability to model diverse delivery patterns and generate accurate, efficient routes at scale. PTV OptiFlow accounts for real‑time traffic conditions, delivery windows, customer density, and vehicle constraints—helping reduce kilometres travelled, improve routing accuracy, and maintain strong on‑time performance across metropolitan and regional areas.
The end‑to‑end routing optimisation platform is fully integrated into HelloFresh ANZ’s planning and distribution systems, reducing manual planning time and supporting stable performance during peak and seasonal demand. Since implementation, the company has seen a reduction in manual route adjustments, improved real‑time visibility, and up to a 4% reduction in mileage and operational costs, contributing to both cost efficiency and sustainability goals.
“PTV Logistics acted as much more than a software vendor; they were a true partner. By working closely with their consultants during the implementation phase, we were able to move beyond simple A‑to‑B routing. This allowed us to integrate real‑time traffic data and local routing constraints, resulting in a more resilient delivery network that consistently meets our high service standards,” said Jasper van Dooijeweert, Associate Director of Transport Planning at HelloFresh.
“Since implementing PTV OptiFlow, we’ve seen a significant reduction in planning time. Our planners spend far less time making manual routing adjustments, and we’ve observed measurable improvements in delivery reliability. These efficiencies allow us to maintain competitive delivery pricing for our customers, even as fuel and labour costs fluctuate,” added Tony Tannous, Director of Operations at HelloFresh ANZ.
PTV Logistics and HelloFresh ANZ are continuing a phased rollout to maintain operational continuity, including data alignment, routing model configuration, real‑world scenario testing, and region‑wide training. Each activation phase provides opportunities for ongoing fine‑tuning and performance optimisation. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and scalable last‑mile performance that supports long‑term growth across Australia and New Zealand.
