Software solutions provider Wexlog has chosen to integrate the API catalog of PTV Logistics' new PTV Developer platform. The aim is to enhance its Wex4TL software package with a complete functional offering to meet all the road transport needs of its 4PL customers. This collaboration brings together two key software publishers specialized in transport and logistics.
PTV xServer user since 2019, the editor has integrated PTV Logistics' latest-generation PTV Developer platform into its Wex4TL offering. Developed in-house, Wex4TL is a transport and logistics management software package combining a TMS and a WMS. This solution is aimed at operators specializing in transport and associated logistics. It offers a set of functionalities covering services ranging from order taking, planning, quality control, invoicing and the production of key performance indicators (KPIs). It supports complex international organizations, some of which operate in over 100 countries worldwide.
The migration to PTV Developer is designed to support the launch of a customizable TMS offering in SaaS mode. Thanks to this integration, Wexlog is now able to offer its customers an open catalog incorporating all PTV Logistics' latest-generation APIs. This modular offering includes advanced functionalities such as route calculation, address geocoding and map display, already available in PTV xServer, but further enhanced by PTV Logistics.
This partnership, between two key players in the supply chain software industry, enables Wexlog to offer its customers tailor-made solutions based on modular functional bricks that can be adjusted on demand. Wexlog markets these services as packages.
