HelloFresh optimizes last-mile delivery in Australia and New Zealand with PTV OptiFlow

HelloFresh continues its international expansion. This sustained growth is making last-mile delivery operations increasingly complex. In this context, the company has chosen PTV OptiFlow, the software solution from PTV Logistics, to support the rapid expansion of its distribution network.

The implementation of PTV Logistics’ software aims to enhance delivery reliability and improve operational efficiency, while ensuring consistent performance as the network continues to grow across both countries. In practical terms, the solution enables HelloFresh to model complex delivery scenarios and generate optimized routes at scale. It dynamically takes into account traffic conditions, delivery time windows, customer density, and vehicle-related constraints.

Up to a 4% reduction in kilometers traveled and operational costs

This optimized route management helps reduce distances traveled while improving delivery punctuality and service levels, both in urban and regional areas. Integrated into HelloFresh’s planning and distribution systems, the solution delivers measurable benefits, including up to a 4% reduction in kilometers driven and operational costs, directly contributing to efficiency and sustainability objectives.

The platform also improves operational visibility and secures route execution, even during peak activity and seasonal periods. Finally, it significantly reduces the time spent on manual planning by automating adjustments that were previously handled by planning teams.
