Parnass Transport relies on the PTV Developer platform to build a fully customized TMS

With a fleet of 230 vehicles (tractors and swap bodies), Parnass Transport supports major logistics providers 24/7. Since 2010, the company has specialized in the regular transport of goods over 3.5 tons in the Île-de-France region and across the entire country. It operates from a hub in Goussainville (95) and provides vehicles with drivers for linehaul operations, as well as rental services for specific time slots.

Faced with increasingly complex flows, Parnass Transport decided to develop its own TMS. “No standard TMS really matched our organization. So we built our own tool to fully adapt it to our processes. We are continuously improving it by integrating AI to speed up analysis, enhance predictability, and help our operations team make the best decisions,” explains Jawad Meftah, Operations Manager at Parnass Transport.

Fast integration, complete autonomy

To automate its route calculations, Parnass Transport relies on the Routing API from the PTV Developer platform—a choice that meets the carrier’s need for autonomy and flexibility. The API optimizes routes by factoring in numerous parameters: vehicle characteristics, real-time traffic, road types, driving regulations, and more. The interface also provides accurate ETAs, enabling real-time tracking, anticipation of disruptions, and proactive communication with customers in case of delays. It even generates toll and fuel consumption estimates, making it easier to invoice actual costs and compare forecasts with real-world data. “After a discovery and testing phase, the API integration was completed quickly and independently, thanks to the documentation available on the PTV Developer website,” adds Jawad Meftah.

A scalable and cost-effective solution

This flexibility also extends to functionality, as Parnass Transport now has access to the entire platform catalog: “The breadth of our API portfolio gives Parnass Transport the ability to gradually enhance its TMS: today with route calculation, tomorrow with map display, address geocoding, matrix calculations for thousands of routes, load optimization, and ultimately full tour optimization,” says Damien Labasle, Account Executive at PTV Logistics. The API platform also stands out for its attractive pricing model: each transport request made by Parnass Transport costs less than one euro cent. The new Parnass TMS will be fully operational by early March 2026.
